Santa’s Belt Christmas Tree Topper
Christmas tree toppers are fun and easy to design! Use your imagination and create a topper to remember!
A great tree topper starts with ribbon and a great bow! Here I have used red glitter ribbon and layered it with red and black check ribbon. Wired ribbon is a must! In order to get the fullness and design needed, you must use ribbon with wire.
Next, I added holly leaf and red glitter floral picks behind the bow, coming out at different angles.
My favorite part of my Christmas tree topper is my array of Santa’s Belt ornaments and cones.
I love the mix of the polka dots and stripes on the cones!
The ornaments and cones are very lightweight, but it definitely takes some manipulating to get them to stay on at the angles that I want them to hang!
I like them to point out in different directions. I think it gives a fun look!
At the last-minute I added some red tulle around the topper. Tulle is easy to use because you simply gather it and tuck it in the limbs of the tree.
I love a full, abundant tree topper!
My tree is a 12 ft tree and really needs a large topper.
