Makeover in Progress!
Wild hair has arrived! I’ve decided that I need an office. I need someplace to call my own…do my thing…someplace to blog…to sew…to DIY. So, I got a wild hair and am transforming my space.
This is the LITTLE room that has been designated as mine. I could use the guest room, but then I wouldn’t have a guest room. I could use my son’s room, since he’s away at college…but I’m not ready for that! I want to keep him “here” for as long as possible!
The little room it is! I’ll take what I can get!
First of all, I love the desk. It was passed down from my husband’s family. It’s not large enough for him, so I get to use the beauty. I’ll get some better pictures of the front of the desk soon.
As you can see, I have started with the bookcase. It’s just your basic laminate bookcase that we’ve had forever! I’m leaving it the wood color, because I like how it looks with the desk, but I am putting some stripes on the back. You can see my Frog Tape in place.
This is the area that I have decided to designate as my sewing/DIY area.
You can see a white folding table under the pile of drop cloth. I have plans to make that guy gorgeous…if it works…
Now, check out this lovely eye sore!!! It makes me cringe!!
The problem is that when we bought the house, the builder had completely finished the basement, which is nice, but we have no storage! Usually a basement has some great storage space, but not mine! Therefore, this little nook is the only place I have to store my Christmas decorations. Stacks and stacks of Christmas decorations!
But, I plan to fix it using that drop cloth. Wait till you see what I’m doing…I think you’ll like it!

} That’s why I do most of my computer work on my comfy couch in the lounge on my laptop… Hope to see your after soon
