November is here and that means Thanksgiving is right around the corner, so it is the perfect time to share all your delicious Thanksgiving dishes and decor, along with your fun Fall-themed treats and projects.

I wanted to show you how I get my table ready for Thanksgiving. This year, I have designed my table around the theme of “harvest.” When I think of a harvest, I think of “plenty,” so I decided a bountiful centerpiece would be the best idea.

Any large bowl, basket or other container would work to create your bountiful harvest…I began with my Longaberger soup tureen. It’s one of my favorite pieces of pottery.

Removing the lid, I filled it with small pumpkins and gourds from Walmart and these great leaves from the Dollar Tree. They are really nice looking for what I paid for them!

I couldn’t have a harvest without Indian corn! I’ve always loved to use Indian or Calico corn in my Fall decor. The variations in color are gorgeous!

I really love how it turned out. The ladle is in the tureen and the lid is propped on the side, allowing the bounty to overflow…

Last year, I purchased these great turkey plates. I love the hints of blue in them and they’re small enough to sit on top of my solid ivory dinnerware. Both the turkey and ivory plates are from Better Homes and Gardens, purchased at Walmart…and the turkey dishes are available again this year!

My orange napkins were purchased in Spain, several years ago and my leaf napkin rings came from a flea market!

I love the rich colors of a Thanksgiving table.
