Storage Bin Makeover

~Fresh New Look for Storage~

A couple of weeks ago I had the privilege to guest post over at Alderberry Hill, where I shared my updated storage bins. It was such fun to share with Sarah’s amazing readers, but I thought I’d give you guys a peek at them today.

My little wooden boxes were navy when I used them in my kid’s playroom and then they received a makeover for my personal use.

When I recently began my new home office/craft room makeover, my vision changed…colors changed…so my storage bins had to change. I wanted to pull out some of the great colors that were in the fabric I found for the curtains. I love the green and the yellow!

My first step in my storage bin makeover was a new coat of paint! I used Krylon Spray Paint in Ivy Leaf which looks great with the green in my new curtains.

Next came a little extra touch for the interior of the boxes. I decided to use Mod Podge and scrapbook paper to line them.

This was a quick, easy update that gives a great pop of color to the space!

I love great storage ideas. If you have any thoughts or ideas that I can use in my new home office/craft space, let me know!
