On This Thanksgiving Day, Count Your Blessings…

…Name Them One By One

Today is a day of Thanksgiving. A day in which we celebrate and reflect on the blessings that we have in our lives. A day to be thankful!

Thank you Lord…

for the many times a day that I hear “mom!” ~ it means that I have 4 beautiful children that fill my heart.

for the cabinet doors and drawers that are always left open ~ it means my wonderful husband is at home safe.

for the 20lb turkey that I must cook ~ it means I have a beautiful family to share this day with.

for the bits of dirt and grass sitting at the front door ~ it means we have a “best friend” that is our constant companion.

for the sink of dirty dishes ~ it means we have food to eat to help us strive and grow.

for the pile of laundry waiting to be washed ~ it means we have clothes to wear and protect us from the elements.

for the floors to be mopped & the windows to be washed ~ it means we have a roof over our head to keep us safe and warm.

for the bumper that needs to be fixed ~ it means we have a car for transportation.

for the new wrinkles on my face ~ it means I’ve been given another year to live, laugh & love!

 We are so blessed! In many ways that we often overlook. Count your blessings…name them one by one!

 Last but not least, I am thankful for YOU! Your support, comments and encouragement brighten my day…every day!
