~Ideas for the Laundry Room~

With the holidays right around the corner, I can’t believe I’m actually starting a new room makeover. I must not be thinking straight. Shouldn’t I be thinking of Halloween costumes, Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas trees?

Perhaps…but I’ve admitted how I get when I get an idea or project on my mind…full force ahead.

Before planning any space, I always try to think about what I want out of it, so my first step was to develop a laundry room inspiration board.

Here’s what I’m thinking…

I already have the front loading washer and dryer on pedestals and I want to create a rustic/industrial look in the space. I love the idea of the open shelving and decorative containers for laundry supplies.

For the walls, I’m really thinking of just clean, fresh white walls. With the dark wood tones and black metal, I think white walls would be a great classic look.

Now that I have a plan, it’s go time!

Thank you Sue! My laundry room has always been my least favorite space in the house. I’m definitely going to try to change that. Have a great week.

I love your vision for the laundry room. I’m especially in love with the metal shelf and rolling laundry cart. Swoon!!!!

    Blessings,
