Burlap Projects Are Everywhere…
You only need to take a quick look around the blogosphere or Pinterest to see that there is a current love of Burlap taking place. It is a woven fabric that is usually made from the skin of a jute plant or sisal fibers. It has a coarse texture, which rules it out for use in apparel, but it can be incorporated into home decor very easily. With it’s natural appearance, it also makes it the perfect fabric to add to your Fall decor. I currently have a definite love of burlap…

I love this AMAZING lamp shade by Magan Lens. She was inspired by a lamp found at Anthropologie. It is absolutely gorgeous! The fullness of the ruffles are great!
Take a look at this gorgeous table skirt by Dixie Delights! This is a beautiful porch! I love the way she has added the blue and white fabric trim to the burlap skirt. The coordinating chairs and curtains compliment the skirt and make a stunning space!
I have used burlap in a few different ways within the last couple of weeks. In my post, Fall Decor in its Simplicity, I created a banner to hang on my corner cabinet. My favorite burlap project that I’ve made this season is my stenciled pillows. Using a homemade stencil and some black spray paint, these burlap pillows turned out fabulous!
