Fall Leaf Wreath

What’s a Fall Leaf Wreath, you ask?

(It’s definitely a mouth full!)

Yesterday, I showed you some changes that I made in my corner cabinet in my dining room. I brought in some greens and earth tones to compliment my white dishes, to give a subtle fall look. If you missed it, you can check it out here. After I finished that, I kept going…I needed a Fall Leaf Wreath!

First, let me show you this mirror from Pottery Barn. It’s the Eagan Mulitpanel Large Mirror. I have it in my living room and I love it! It’s so stunning! It adds interest to the room.

At Christmas, I always put a wreath on it. Yesterday I decided that if it worked with my Christmas decor, why not Fall???? Of course, it’s not a traditional wreath. It’s a leaf. So, it’s a Fall Leaf Wreath!

I found this cool leaf, made from sticks, at JoAnn’s Fabrics. Using some of my Fall ribbon, I made a bow and a ribbon hanger for my “leaf wreath.” (I hate taking pictures of mirrors, because there’s always a reflection of something…) Anyways, I love the look of it “hanging” on the mirror. The ribbon is literally just folded over the top of the mirror and a clear suction cup is holding on the leaf. 

I love the colors of the flower arrangement with the ribbon and the lamp shades. Now this picture is not bad, because the in the mirror’s reflection, you can see my pumpkin baskets on my mantel! 

I’m not sure what type of flowers these are but I have always loved this arrangement. It was on my dining room table. You know me…I love switching things around. Now, I’ll need something for that table!

I am having so much fun decorating for Fall. Then it dawned on me!…I’ve got to start thinking about Halloween! At least it’s easy to incorporate that with what I’ve already done!
