Tabletops to “Fall” in Love With
When I say fall in love with your table, I don’t mean fall in LOVE with your table. I mean FALL in love with your table, as in Fall Decor! Make your Fall tabletops beautiful!
Last week, I showed you my “Leaf Wreath,” in which I had moved my flower arrangement from my dining room table to my sideboard, in my living room. I mentioned that I would then have to replace that arrangement on my dining room table. So, I grabbed some of my Fall decor and got to work. I had also picked up some Indian corn at Walmart. Using one of my favorite baskets, I filled it with some Fall goodies.
I also decided to use these great silver candlestick holders that I found at Restore for $1.00 each! I wrapped each candle with my Fall ribbon and voila!
Of course, I couldn’t forget my burlap! I’m all about burlap right now! I literally just folded and laid some burlap fabric across the table to create a runner.
While I was at it, I also re-worked another tabletop. I used a few items that I had previously put on my coffee table and added a little more burlap and my favorite goose. This table is taller than an average end table. It sets at the end of my sofa, in a corner by the fireplace. It really serves no purpose other than for decoration. Therefore, it’s a perfect location for Fall table decor.
I tied some of my Fall ribbon around the handle of my bell jar and placed it over a green bowl full of apples. I also added some of my pitchers and a crock into the mix.
I love the look of the pottery and the basket with the wooden goose. The colors are a perfect compliment to the Fall ribbon on the bell jar.
Fall table decor is fun to put together and can often be done with items that you already have in your decor. Have some fun putting your Fall table decor together, whether it’s your dining room table, coffee table or a table that serves no purpose! Fall in love with your tabletop!
