~Make Mom Something Special~
I think we can all agree that mothers love to receive handmade, personal gifts for Mother’s Day. Moms love to be reminded of how much they mean to us and how special they are to our families.
Yesterday I had the pleasure of sharing some of my favorite DIY Gift Ideas for Mother’s Day on WTVQ Channel 36. Take a moment and check out my segment on the local news at noon and then you can grab the full tutorials for these great Mother’s Day gifts below.
Photo Collage Monogram
What a special gift for mom…her initial covered with adorable photos of her children or grandchildren! This project is so personal and can be used in many ways.
Instead of just her initial, you could spell her name or “mom.” The photos you choose to use could also have a theme. I created my monogram using photos of my children at the beach.
You can find the full tutorial for this project in my DIY Photo Collage Letters post, when I made them for my daughter’s graduation party.
Mother’s Day Vase
Another great gift idea for mom is this Personalized Glass Etched Vase. My design has “MOTHER” on the front and the years that my children were born on the back.
You could also add names to the vase as well as decorative designs. Adhesive stencils and glass etching creme make this project one of the easiest projects you can make for mom.
The full tutorial can be found in this Etched Glass Mother’s Day Vase post.
Mother’s Day Quote Canvas
If you have a sentiment that expresses how you feel about your mother, then this project is perfect for you. You can get as creative as you want with the design and quote.
It’s the perfect project to let mom know just how special she truly is to you and the entire family. The full tutorial is in my Mother’s Day Quote on Canvas post.
Have a Happy Mother’s Day!
