I printed my art onto fabric transfer paper and then transferred the image to my burlap fabric.

I decided to create a 16″x16″ pillow. The front and back of the pillow were cut to a size of 17″x17″. This allowed me to create fringe along the outside of the pillow.

To create the fringed look, I cut about 1 inch around the outside of the transferred image then sewed the image on the front piece of the pillow. I sewed along the turquoise border, so that I could pull threads to create the fringe, allowing it to stop at the edge of the sign.

I love my new pillow! It’s unique, fun and my own creation thanks to Signs by Andrea! I was able to use my creativity to design my own family rules, therefore creating my own work of art. I think that’s why I love it so much…I designed it! It’s mine!

While I was at it, I printed my Beach House Rules on computer paper and then framed it in this great white frame.
