There’s No Place Like New York at Christmas!
One of my favorite places to visit is New York and my favorite time to visit is Christmas! I love Christmas in New York! The lights are bright, the air is crisp and the spirit is high!
Rockefeller Center
The tree at Rockefeller Center is so beautiful! It’s breathtaking to see such a massive gorgeous tree! It sits above the ice skating rink spreading Christmas cheer to the skaters below. Seeing it at night is a must!
Radio City Music Hall and The Rockettes
At Radio City Music Hall The Rockettes are celebrating 85 years of performing. Their Christmas Spectacular is an amazing show that will put even the grumpiest of a Scrooge in the Christmas spirit! My favorite part of the show is their performance of The Twelve Days of Christmas. The toy soldiers act is awesome too!
Nutcrackers, Diamonds & Macaroons!
Do you collect nutcrackers? New York has a whole row of these massive guys!
Diamonds are a girl’s best friend!…
I tried something new…Laudree’s macaroons! Amazing…delicious!
Macy’s
Some of the best sights of Christmas in New York are the store windows! Macy’s windows are always fun and inventive!
Scene from The Miracle on 34th Street.
Macy’s wooden escalators and their Santa Land.
Yes Virginia, there is a Santa Claus!
Macy’s store front with their Christmas tree and the statues that guard the entrance.
I also wanted to share one of my favorite buildings…The Chrysler Building! The architecture is amazing!
What a wonderful few days in the city that never sleeps! My Christmas spirit was raised and my pocketbook is a little lighter!
Happy Holidays!
