Bedroom Inspiration Board

A Girl Can Dream…

I’m in a bit of a “bedroom inspiration” mood. I would love to do a makeover on my bedroom, but I can’t right now. So, I’ll have to settle for creating a visual makeover…

I began my bedroom inspiration with the bed. Canopy beds are so gorgeous and I love the simple design of the black canopy frame bed that I found at Crate and Barrel. It would be amazing with some sheer fabric panels at the corners.

Bedrooms should be calming, beautiful and a place of rejuvenation. I love soothing blues and greens in bedroom decor. The Winter Ikat duvet cover from West Elm paired with the blue sage sweater pillow is perfect!  Plus, the green lamp accentuates the colors in the duvet.

I would use 2 of the blue slate chair from Target at the foot of the bed. They would be perfect with the mirrored side table from Ballard Designs between them.  Two chairs at the foot of the bed is such a hot look right now.

The beveled mirrors and natural jute rug give a great balance of casual and elegant style. The mirrors would be great placed side by side above the bed. (right above the headboard~not the canopy)  Simple and stylish!

I use my bedroom as a place to relax and regroup at the end of a busy, hectic day. What better way to do that than to step into a room full of beautiful accessories, calming colors and plush furnishings?!?!…other than having a personal masseuse and all-you-can-eat chocolate covered strawberries?!?!?…a girl can dream…
