Beach Boy Bedroom

~Nautical Style~

Yesterday I shared my Personalized Wooden Whale Sign that I put in my son’s bedroom at our beach house. Today I’m sharing a few more pictures from his room.

His headboard is the Seagrass Block Headboard from Pier 1. The seagrass has the typical beach look. I love the design and texture of the headboard.

The navy and white is a classic! The stripe duvet cover and shams are from West Elm. It’s wonderful bedding! The cover and shams are 100% cotton and the duvet cover also has a button closure.

The Surfboard Mirror is from PB Teen. It’s from his bedroom from years ago. I actually had it stored away for the last few years and was so glad I never got rid of it! It’s perfect for a beach boy bedroom!

The BEACH pillow cover is from Pottery Barn. I purchased it last year but I don’t think it’s available anymore. It’s one of my favorites!

The red table is from IKEA. It’s their Hemnes nightstand in red. It’s the perfect size for a nightstand. It also comes in black-brown, gray-brown and white.

The Rope Knot Doorstop is from HomeGoods, which I purchased in Kentucky. You should have seen me going through airport security with that thing! It was an adventure…”it’s just a home decoration, sir”…

The two oars above the bed are both from HomeGoods. You are actually seeing the back of the top oar. The other side has a painted sailboat scene that is not the look I was going for, so I painted the stripes and added ORCA to the backside. Now it looks more appropriate for a beach boy bedroom!

A nautical theme bedroom is such a great look whether you’re at the beach or not. It’s easy to carry out and very classic. It’s a beach boy bedroom!

Thanks Kelly! I don’t remember that movie, but my son suggested Orca because the boat from Jaws was the Orca. I guess that would give nightmares too! LOL!
      Have a great week.
