Get Creative with Duck Tape®
It’s that time again! It’s time for back-to-school. Of course that means supplies, supplies, supplies…
One supply you should definitely put on your list is Duck Tape®. There are so many cool colors and patterns that you can use in so many different ways! You’re kids can decorate notebooks or the inside of their lockers. They can jazz up their water bottles or lunch boxes. Think outside the box!
I think these envelope style pocket pouches by Dukes and Duchesses would be great for your students to use to carry their lunch money.
They are so easy to make! You lay out two strips of Duck Tape®, side by side. This will be the outside of the pouch. Using a coordinating color or pattern, lay some strips of tape horizontally across the two strips, sticky sides together. This will create the interior of the pouch.
Next, you will fold your pouch like you would an envelope. Use small strips of tape to secure the sides of the pouch, creating a pocket.
Use scissors to create a “V” for the envelope closure. You can use small velcro discs on the flap of the envelope to ensure complete closure of the pocket pouch.
Duck Tape® is strong, durable and now it’s so fashionable! Stop by your local Walmart and take a look at the fabulous colors, prints and patterns that Duck Tape® has to offer. You can also click here to buy Duck Tape at Walmart.
